I Heart Valentine's Day

I've always been a lover of Valentine's Day but now that I have little Eva in my life it is even more divine. I bought a slew of books a month ago about Valentine's Day that we have been reading. We also baked heart shaped pumpkin muffins for our BC Parent Ed program class. As if that wasn't enough excitement, class was followed by a Bounce House Play Date with our Stroller Strides group. It was non stop fun for the entire morning/afternoon. When we got home, Eva enjoyed reading through all the Valentines that her grandmas and admirers sent. She seemed to get the concept after all of our work. I'm already excited for next year!

Eva's Hair Cut (what number are we on now?)

So I finally came to my senses and decided that it wasn't worth it to drive twenty two miles to Seattle just to get Eva's hair cut. I loved the glitter, ribbons, and bows at Lil' Klippers. I totally heart the divine cupcakes at Cupcake Royale but seriously? She's only twenty one months old. A new kid's cuts salon opened in our little suburb this year and I decided it was high time to try it out. Eva loved the tricked out salon chairs and the television with Dora playing didn't hurt either. I think my days of driving for my munchkin's haircut are over. One more thing to check off the Seattle list.
