Eva has been quite the party girl lately. This summer has been an action packed season packed with birthday parties, BBQ's, and a host of other celebrations. I usually try to prep Eva for what is to come to develop her vocabulary in addition to setting clear expectations for behavior, etc. She's on to one pattern, and that's birthday parties. She has come to associate the cake with "happy" and says the word over and over again. It's really quite endearing. Every time we tell her she's going to a party she says "happy." It makes me smile every time. We all want our kids to be happy, no?
